This year's London Golf Show was another huge success for the EGTF, with our excellent team of instructors giving over 400 golf lessons to the general public.

The feedback from the public was fantastic and it is always a pleasure to see so many smiling faces after having a lesson from an EGTF Pro. 

The teaching team worked tirelessly for eight hours a day over the four days to provide a valuable service to people visiting the show, who I think really appreciated their efforts.

I don't think the show was as busy this year and there did seem to be a little less excitement going around the Excel arena.  Maybe this was due to the excellent weather, encouraging people to go and play golf rather than be inside.

It was great to welcome some new members to the teaching team this year and everyone got on really well, which is essential if the lessons are to run smoothly.  I think we taught the complete range of players over the four days, from some budding junior superstars, to male and female beginners, some accomplished players and even a PGA Professional!!  Word must have spread pretty quickly as our lesson sheets were just about full for the day after an hour of the show opening each morning.

It it always a great opportunity to network with some other retailers and golf companies and you will see in the next few issues of the magazine, some new offers to EGTF members that make our benefits even more attractive.

As always I would like to thank our team at the Show for their hard work and professionalism during the four days.  The team consisted of Sharon Hinton, Paul Daykin, Alan Simpson, Ronnie Martin, Nigel Elder, Stewart Craig, Jodi Annette, Pete and April Stopford, Pauline Abbott and Denise Mullins.

I think the public are now beginning to realise just how good an EGTF Professional is and if we keep pushing ourselves on to becoming better teachers, the future will be bright for everyone.
