Putting CPD

I recently attended the CPD Putting Course on 1 June 2007, at Winnerod Golf Club just outside Frankfurt, Germany.  The Course was instructed by EGTF Chief Instructor, Bill Abbott.  I found the material to be both revolutionary and fascinating.  The innovative putting method of 'left hand' low has not only made my putting stroke consistent, but improved my confidence tremendously.  Additionally the drills and aids used were extremely beneficial in honing my stroke.  I recommend the Putting CPD to anyone who is perhaps currently struggling with their putting or wants to simply improve their stroke.  In fact, based on the level and quality of this CPD, I strongly advocate attending any of the EGTF's CPD Courses.

Shadowing the EGTF Level III Certification Course, 3-10 June 2007, Winnerod Golf Club, Germany

Having been an EGTF Pro since September 2002, I decided to "shadow" the above mentioned Course instructed by Bill Abbott and Nigel Elder.  The reason to "shadow" was to update my teaching skills as well as to refresh my teaching level.  I certainly feel that without a "shadow" of a doubt, I achieved both!  The EGTF continually strives to better itself.  Consequently the Course content, the drills and the actual level of instruction has also improved enormously over the past five years since I qualified as a Teaching Pro.  As the game of golf is constantly evolving, then so must the approach to and quality of instruction.  This has doubtlessly been achieved by the EGTF.
