An accessible route into golf teaching.

The EGTF was established in 1992 to train individuals who wanted to teach golf and gain a qualification. Its original story describes an international teaching organisation with members working across the golf industry.

From the beginning, the purpose has been practical: equip people who want to teach with a method they can understand, demonstrate and use confidently with the golfer in front of them.

The Federation’s teaching philosophy places communication and enjoyment alongside technical knowledge, including mirror-image teaching as a way to make difficult ideas more accessible for beginners.
